Matthew Vella joins Smart Planet Technologies’ Board of Advisors

About Matthew Vella Matthew Vella has held a number of leadership positions with Acacia Research, the latest being the office of Chief Executive from August 2013 through December 2015.  Previously, Matt held the positions of Executive Vice President, Senior Vice President, and Vice President of Licensing since 2006.

Earlier, Matt was a Senior Intellectual Property Counsel for ATI, and Lead Patent License Counsel for Nortel Networks.  Matt has a degree in Intellectual Property Law from Toronto Law School.
