Carvajal Pulpa y Papel S.A. (Propal) and Carvajal Empaques S.A. license EarthCoating from Smart Planet Technologies
Carvajal Pulpa y Papel S.A. and Carvajal Empaques S.A. entered into a new technology partnership and license agreement with Smart Planet Technologies for the use of EarthCoating™ in a wide range of global packaging applications. Focused on Latin America but also including other global markets, the Carvajal Group operates manufacturing facilities that broaden the reach of EarthCoating™ technology into a wide range of new applications requiring less plastic in all packaging verticals, improved paper recyclability, and high barrier performance.
This partnership with Smart Planet Technologies “is a great fit for the strategy to enrich our portfolio and provide our customers more circular packaging solutions, taking into account sustainability as key purpose across all our activities and operations”, says Pedro Carvajal, CEO of Carvajal Group.
About Carvajal Empaques (CESA) and Carvajal Pulpa y Papel (CPP)
